GSX Support MSFS / Re: GSX issue during boarding MSFS 2024
« Last post by jlincke on August 07, 2025, 07:34:39 pm »
I have not altered anything related to this aircraft in GSX.  Wheels are not buried.  The issue happens after the prompt on whether or not to attach the tug but I select no to not attach the tug. I never get far enough to attach the tug before pushback as the crash happens about 10 seconds after that prompt.   As i said, its odd because just a few days prior everything was working perfectly. Yesterday when i started my flight i noticed there was a GSX update so i shut down the sim and updated it before proceeding. I reentered the sim and began setting everything up and decided to start boarding while i finished loading flight plan etc. and that is when i encountered the issue. I have tried it also leaving the aircraft cold and dark, no change.  I have also tried boarding again after the crash once GSX reloads.  It does the exact same thing at the exact interval.

Of course Uninstalling/Reinstalling GSX won't change anything about how the jetway behaves when using the Fenix, which is only controlled through the EFB setting.

GSX NEVER operates the jetway automatically, it will do it only in these two cases:

- When you call Boarding or Deboardin

- When you call "Operate Jetways".

Clearly, if you have the Fenix calling GSX Boarding or Deboaring by its own (replacing "you"), the automatic Jetway function in the Fenix EFB should be disabled, otherwise a double trigger might possibly happen if they tried to do the same thing.

GSX Support MSFS / Re: GSX not autostarting with 2024

I cannot replicate the problem, GSX autostarts with MSFS 2024 normally with the latest Fenix update. I also tried the fuel automation, works normally as it always did.

Quote
GSX no longer downloads automatically refueling and the mass and balance on the EFB tablet are reset to 0 after 30 seconds

I need to clarify this, because there's seems to be a profound misunderstanding what GSX does or doesn't. It's very simple, in fact: GSX doesn't do anything. It never refuels the airplane, it never changes the payload, it never operates the Fenix EFB (or any other EFB for that matter).

What GSX does, is inform developers it needs something or it's doing something, like it wants a door to be opened/closed, or it has connected the fuel hose, but that's it, what happens (or doesn't happen) next, it's only happening (or not happening) completely inside the airplane own systems.

The one and only time GSX "touches" an airplane system, is when Pushing it. No other airplane systems are ever affected or handled by GSX in any phase of the service, except Pushback.

The solution is simple: Uninstall gsx, then reinstall.

I won't use the update function anymore; I constantly have problems with it. Umberto, updating just doesn't work!

Hello,
I'm having the same problem. The loading doors open and close the minute they arrive to load, and when I request an external power supply or a laundry service, they never arrive. This started a couple of updates ago.

If the airplane crashed on the apron, it's usually caused by an (even slight) inaccuracy in its contact points in dynamic vs static cg mode, this can be usually noticed if you try to edit the airplane in GSX: if the gear is slightly raised or slightly buried on ground, it indicates there's a problem with the contact points, which would cause the airplane to crash when GSX freeze/unfreeze it when attaching the tug.

We removed the internal dynamic lights because users reported they are not required anymore in the BFU and the internal was too bright.

GSX Support MSFS / GSX issue during boarding MSFS 2024
« Last post by jlincke on August 07, 2025, 07:06:46 pm »
Hello,  I have searched multiple forum topics to find if my exact issue has existed and I have yet to find an instance so here it goes.  What is happening is when I request boarding, after the prompt on whether or not to attach the tug, I select no which is GSX preference, one notice will pop up that boarding is starting and then the screen will go black momentarily and then will come back with brake released and engines running with a red notice saying that I crashed. I initially thought it would have something to do with the navigraph hub and simlink i had installed the evening prior but i have since uninstalled both and have experienced the same issue.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled GSX and the universal installer, no change.  I also thought it could be an issue with the airport Flightbeam KSFO. I installed the gsx profile for that airport, no change.   I have tried at several other airports and experience the same issue at the exact same time in the sequence. I feel like i am searching for a needle in a haystack as to what could be the issue.  For the record, GSX has worked perfectly recently until the recent update.  Reading the update log it looks like some issue close to mine was supposedly fixed in the update.  The aircraft i am using is the 787-9 from Bravo Airspace. I have used this aircraft successfully with GSX within the last week or so. Any guidance is much appreciated.

You don't say which simulator you use. And please clarify exactly which livery it is, an official or a 3rd party ? If it's not official, please provide a download link for it.
