..how can you compare iFly, with an aircraft, which hasn't been released yet...?

Very easily, if you don't own aircraft from Precision.  Once they release, a lot of iFlies are going to end up in the recycle bin.

I find it funny that we are talking about the NGX in the fsdt forums - in a KLAX preview thread. It's fun though.

Considering that will be the main Hub for a lot of others PMDG NGX.  This is the right subject.  I will be doing my maiden flight out of if not KDEN

That is true. Although I primarily fly in and out of the north east (JFK mostly), I can't wait to fly across the country to KLAX, crisscrossing to KORD and KDFW, or maybe do some Southwest runs, or flying to KDEN myself in the UAL/COA merger livery.

Sounds great!!!  However you know there are going to be "HEAVY" flights going in and out of KLAS to KLAX for a short hall test flights of the PMDG systems.  As well as a quick view of the KLAX scenery.....for those who can not wait that long in flight to see the new LA basin

I don't know about that...Once KLAX is availabe, I suspect >90% of my flights will be between KLAX and KSFO or KLAS in either the iFly 737NG or the PMDG NGX.  As sad as it may be, I enjoy button pushing and the thrill/rush of the takeoff roll.  My flights averate <250 NM and KLAX will fill out the west coast nicely for short haul flights.

+1 I agree; those are my pref routes too.  I like the photo scenery as well in that area:) Plus landing in SFO is always a thrill and taking off west out of klax is good too...

Since my guess is that the NGX will come before KLAX, I start with Routes from LOWW to EDDM, LFPG or LCLK or something like that. Once KLAX is released, I will fly from KLAX to PHNL or KLAS, definitely

Have you visted the PMDG forum I was in the forum yesterday. In RSR's recent post topic, he said the NGX will be handed over to the wider beta teams to check for "bugs" etc.....
So it may be while longer.

Yes I visit AVSIM every day - but my feeling here is that they tested very hard until now (at least that was what I was reading) so my guess will be that the wide Beta Team does not have much to test.

But I could be wrong of course
