You don't have the current version, try running the Live Update again now,

Ran the live update again and I'm still getting "couatl engine hasn't started" New log attached

Your log is still incomplete, as if it started and it crashed immediately.

- Configure the antivirus to add the whole Addon Manager folder to the antivirus Exclusions

- Run the update again.

I made double sure the Addon manager folder is excluded from my antivirus, ran live update again, couatl engine still not starting. I can see the Couatl icon running on my toolbar and in task manager but it just doesn't seem to be doing anything, new log attached

What if you choose Restart after a flight started ?

So if I mouse over the icon in my toolbar and right click nothing happens, before I start the sim and it's running it usually says exit, restart, about... but now nothing happens like it's stuck but if I open task manager it says it's still running.

Icon is still there, if I mouse over it says Couatl SysTray

If I stay in the sim GSX works great but when I quit the sim and come back in I'm stuck for about 30 min until Couatl runs. The only thing I have set up different than other people might is that my community folder is in a different drive than my sim using Link Shell Extension to connect it to the sim but I was using that before and it was working just fine.

the gsx menu does not appear on the screen when I call it from the task bar, I have already done everything I have uninstalled and reinstalled, updated and it still does not work, I need help to solve this, I am asking for my money back

Your log indicates something very strange:

That looks like a recursive symbolic link, as if you linked something in the community folder with a link to...itself, no wonder it took so much time to process all files, but that's clearly a problem of your installation.

I totally agree so I had a closer look, for some reason the Aerosoft store app added community folders within my community folder, deleting those fixed it and it's now working great. Thank you so much for taking the time to point me in the right direction, I greatly appreciate it.  :)

I think the answer was for me. I had bought and installed Gsx Pro two days earlier. I also made an update with the Fsdt Live Updater, that I normally use for all products, but Gsx Pro didn't work. So I tried to update via the Fsdt Universal installer and now Gsx Pro works!
