When choosing to board or disembark, baggage trucks arrive and depart once the process is complete. But the baggage truck simply won't leave after the latest update when it has completed its task. It remains in place, and you are unable to choose anything else (such as pushback, refueling, or catering). Is this a bug or can i fix this?

I’m having the same problem. The conveyor cart won’t leave, so I can’t call the meal cart, and the subsequent flights can’t be loaded either. Please fix this issue.

As explained already, it's normal the loaders won't leave, it's a feature that has been asked by users and it's fully documented in the release notes. What is not normal is you can't call other services, because the boarding is completed, even if the loaders don't leave, that shouldn't happen and I cannot replicate it but, maybe, you are using a different sequence so, please, clarify:

- the precise, exact, sequence you call all GSX services. And if you are Boarding or Deboarding, and the precise, exact, sequence in BOTH cases.

Yes, the problem is, the baggage trucks don't leave even after deboarding. Deboarding - the end of the flight, please let the baggage trucks leave.

I can confirm this "issue" for me as well after deboarding.

For the issue before departure blocking pushback, you can press "prepare for departure and pushback", then truck will leave.

That's how's supposed to be:

GSX (all versions) Change: Cargo/Luggage loaders will now stay attached to the airplane after Boarding is completed and will be automatically recalled upon Departure.

Okay but why is refueling on a turnaround never start?
There is nothing more I can do as press "deboard" and start refueling after reloading simbrief?

It should but:

- clarify exactly which airplane you are using

. clarify the precise, exact, sequence of operations. If you use an airplane that has some GSX automation, clarify if you are using the automation.

I notice in this debate that there are many arguments against the users who want the loaders to remain. Why not make GSX a bit more versatile instead? There’s no need to push for extreme realism in every aspect (ground power included).
Think of it like aircraft setup: the most realistic option is a cold and dark start, yet many pilots are perfectly happy to choose another startup state to avoid going through every single procedure. Giving users that choice doesn’t reduce realism—it increases accessibility.
GSX is otherwise a wonderful product, and offering more flexibility would make many of us even happier.
Additionally, in its current state, I’m unable to start a subsequent flight after complete deboarding. Refueling and boarding don’t work,

Regards
Robert

Sure. I have this problem with different aicrafts

Fenix A32x:
I am not using the Fenix integrated automation for GSX, I am using this tool https://github.com/Fragtality/Fenix2GSX which worked fine all the time until the last update.
The automation of this tool works like this:
  • loading the Flightplan via Fenix EFB
  • a few seconds after, the tool starts with the automation process
  • -- Catering
  • -- Refueling
  • -- Boarding

This works without any problems. After Beacon on, I'll request Pushback as usual.
On arrival, the tool starts with the Deboarding process after Beacon light off and eninges off, which works also fine.

Than the problem starts, after loading the next flight, the automatism dont start from beginning.
It is requesting Refueling but the Fuel Track never arrives at the aircraft, but in the GSX Menu it is shown as requested.

ifly 737/FSS ERJ:
There is no real GSX integration yet, so I do all the steps manually.
Usually I start with Catering, than Refueling and than Boarding. All works fine.
After arrival I start with deboarding, reload new Simbrief and request refueling, but the Truck never arrives at the Airplane.

FSL A321:
Same issue as above and the FSL GSX integration is phenomenal done by FSL and has not changed since month.
On a turnaround (refueling for new flight) nothing happens.

The main question is, why is the refueling truck not appearing at the airplane? Is there any log we can get out of GSX to probably see why the Fuel Truck is blocked by something unknown?
I dont think this is an automation issue with anything because it also happens if you do all the steps manually :(

I think you are confusing the design choice (following user suggestions), with the current possible implementation that might have issue. We'll fix the issues, of course.

I think it's pretty clear that this was not a feature that ALL users wanted or asked for. Changes that are going to affect the overall user experience should be added as an option that can be turned on or off in the settings.
