But there are numerous pages of people in that thread who have used the offline installer and this did not fix the problem myself included. The MSFS2024 update from yesterday screwed everything up. I have reinstalled EVERYTHING i have for the sim and this problem seems to be linked to the INIBUILDS a350

Why you are quoting my reply to somebody else, which clearly explained HIS problem didn't had ANYTHING to do with this thread ? And yes, even those "numerous pages" you are referring to don't have anything to do with this thread which, again, is to troubleshoot issues about Couatl engine hasn't started, as its subject says.

I surely posted in the last days, as usual. You cannot expect I'd *always* post over a weekend.

The thread has of course being noticed (it would be hard not to) and a fix is being posted right now.

Like i said is the part you didnt quote. I was not calling you out. I specifically said "I know you are busy." Weekends with the family obviously count.

I have no problem if you want me to call me out. But posting in a thread about unrelated issues, makes the forum more difficult to use for other users as well.

Hello Folks,

i recently buyed GSX Pro and installed anything with the FSDT Installer. As i logged into the game i tried using GSX via the Toolbar but the Window only said waiting for couatl Engine to Start. I looked in the Taskmanager if couatl is startet but it doesnt. So i started it manually but it wont happen. When i start it nothing happens. I create the logFile i and i Zip it here but it says nothing. Only thing there is "FSDT Registry root key not found".

hi,

when I boot up MSFS, GSX works fine at the first airport I load into. however, as soon as I load into another airport OR restart couatl through the GSX menu, it gets stuck saying "waiting for couatl scripting engine to start" I have to restart MSFS completely to get gsx to work again. I attached 2 log files. the first one is during the first startup where gsx loads up fine. the second log file is when I load into another airport. it seems to be getting stuck at "bglmanx busy, waiting." please help!

Hi dev,

I installed GSX pro on my new device and found the problem: When started  a flight, whether or not start GSX in the menu, the couatl stays in system tray for seconds and it then disappears, and it will reappear in system tray after another seconds and disappears again. If I open GSX menu it just says waiting for couatl to start, and for some time the menu will disappear like the couatl in the system tray. I have installed GSX pro before on my old device and it just worked fine.
By searching for some solution on the internet, I have deleted the couatl and couatl64 folders and reinstall them by opening FSDT Live Update and it's not worked. I have even tried uninstall GSX pro and deleted Addon Manager folder and try reinstall, and the problem still appear. I have checked my antivirus and the Addon Manager is in exclusions.

Hello everyone,

I’m having an issue with GSX in MSFS 2024: when I launch GSX, the tray icon stays stuck on “Couatl engine hasn’t started” and nothing else happens.

Hi,

I'm having a similar issue. I've performed most of the basic stuff. I have done a clean reinstallation a few times already, to no avail. Already excluded the Addon Manager and Virtuali folders in Windows Defender. I am out of ideas now, so I'm compelled to ask for help in this forum. Attached here is my couatl logs.

Hoping to find a solution.

Thanks!
