When does FSDT provide push in? It was asked several times and passed several updates but no sight of that...

When it's done. You don't want to have it before it is.

Very cool to see how far you have come since we met at Flight Sim Expo in Las Vegas...

Congratulations... :)

I'm not sure if it's already been requested, but at some future update, is it possible to support catering with a single truck, that docks to each door in turn?  That's generally how I've seen it occur in Australian domestic aircraft.

I guess another request would be cleaners, that arrive by truck that also dock with the aircraft.  That is also how it often happens in Australia.

Now that we have the ATR Freighter available in the sim, please consider developing a low-profile cargo pellet loader. The one we have available right now is too tall to reach the low cargo deck. It breaks the immersion to use a belt loader.

Hello Umberto!

I know this has been asked over many years, with the last post being found this time last year....

Are we going to be getting those fuel truck animations for the PMDG 737 this year or is this scrubbed? Really been looking forward to this for a long time.

Nothing is ever scrubbed from GSX and everything promised eventually arrives. We basically made the Lavatory/Water vehicles just so that nobody would assume that.

That's good to know! I wasn't sure with MSFS 2024 on the horizon if it was going to still come or not. I remember it saying water and lavatory services "coming soon" in P3D...that was ages ago and honestly had forgot about it. I hope that's not going to be the same for the fuel truck...but I also know that your product is extensive to say the least and you more than likely got bigger fish to fry. Was more or less just looking for an update! Again really enjoy your work!

Really loving the immersion of GSX and its quickly become an integral part of all my flying, especially with the persistent PAX in the cabin. On that note, has there been any consideration or plan to have cargo loading behave in the same persistent manner? Where cargo (especially ULDs) loads in sequence into its designated position and then remains there. This could work similar to the PAX to where the status of the cargo door toggles visibility to maintain better performance. This could add just that additional splash of realism to PAX Ops and be a total game changer (IMO) to cargo Ops.

Cheers

Any possibility to try optimize the CPU utilization of the seated passenger to not using the main thread but distribute among the unused threads? while they looke really nice the FPS panelty on any wide body is killing the main thread even if one uses 14900KS or 9800 X3D..

Seated Passengers are NOT handled by GSX, only walking ones.

Seated Passengers are created by modifying the airplane exterior model (or the attached_object.cfg for 2024 native airplanes), with an added visibility condition so you can optimize them by opening/closing the cockpit door and controls their appearance on every seat so, other than setting those variables, they are completely outside GSX control, something you could have verified very easily: you can manually quit the Couatl engine, but Seated Passengers would still be there, precisely because they are not handled by GSX.

So, if you are referring to MSFS 2024 and the issue that with SU3 even invisible passengers have an effect on fps, it's an issue that started with SU3, and has been FIXED in the SU4 Beta, because only Asobo could fix it.

Thanks for sharing this!

I wasn't aware of this issue in SU3 but based on this information, I disabled seated PAX in the iFly 737 MAX8 to see how that would help me get better performance until SU4 has been released where you say it has been fixed by Asobo.

However, disabling seated PAX resulted in the iFly 737 MAX looking like this when I load a flight 🤔

Is there a cache I need to clear somewhere maybe or will this require a reinstallation of the aircraft to make it look normal again?

You mean it worked when they were previously enabled ? This is strange, because if there was some compatibility issue with the airplane files and the installer, it should have caused that problem when enabling passengers as well.

Please provide with the exact livery you used, so I can check it.

Was able to fix it as you can see using this option and yes, worked fine with seated PAX enabled. Had it like that since I first installed the aircraft and never touched it until today.

Which is strange, since when you Enable or Disable Seated passengers on any airplane, the FSDT Installer will do exactly that: rebuild the layout.json for all installed liveries.
