Locating GSX UPDATES info

the last entry stated where to find latest changes Addons->Couatl Live Update->Check Live Update->2 - Read the Latest release notes.
In my P3DV5.4 there is no option to check like update as mentioned above ^



So now what?

I'm getting a 404 on the release notes as well. Not sure what downloading a new installer will do.

Same here. I’ve started my own topic as I cannot get the Live Updater to work properly. After it finishes pressing OK loads the Update page which looks like it’s for MSFS, not P3D.

If I already have the 32bit version installed will this universal installer over write the 32 bit files of GSX and GSX level 2. What would I gain from installing it over
what I already have installed?

Don’t do anything for now. I suspect you’ll be okay but wait until Umberto answers my query on the other topic.

The release links are fixed, and the Live Update always worked. If you suspect you have an issue caused by network delays, use the Offline Installer.

Can I still install that universal installer over my GSX32 bit and would that make any difference?

Thanks for the bump back but if I install the universal one, what happens to the 32 bit GSX stuff? will it be overwritten or will I have to manually delete it?
Just want to make sure first.

You won’t lose anything. I have never lost anything running these updates. Have you never run the Live Update before?

I just installed it. It finds location of my GSX and all other FSDT sceneries and shows a GUI that will offer to update what I have installed and makes the manuals handy for
research. Pretty neat. Thanks again. 


PS, after the install it added a FSDT live updater on my desktop, do I still need that? seems redundant  The universal updater sees and updates all the stuff FSDT related.

There are still regular updates. This link will tell you if an update is available. It’s down to users if they want to update. It’s not mandatory.

You still need a link to the Live Updater. Keep it on your desktop.
