Other than confirming there are no problems with GSX audio, I only listed the two most common cases, that doesn't mean you can't have other non-GSX related issues that should be solved in other ways so, let's add the less common ones:
- an issue with the audio drivers. GSX uses OpenAL audio, so it's required the audio drivers supports it. Sometimes it's best to use the default audio drivers that are included in Windows, sometimes it's best to use the custom drivers (mainboard, audio card) supplied by the hardware suppliers, there's no rule, you can only try.
- if you have removable devices (wireless headsets), you must selected again them in GSX after they are activate: they are not picked up automatically.
- if you have devices that go into low-power mode, they might disappear from GSX. We have some defensive code to prevent those device to sleep, but it might not always work with all of them because, again, it depends on their drivers.
- a conflict with some other audio-related apps like messengers, chats, etc.
All these cases has been discussed and solved in the past following users reports, so I'm not making them up, they are just the less common ones.
