Just Uninstall/Reinstall if your local node is still not updated.

Hallo FYI. I uninstalled gsx and follwing foldes in case those remain (dont foget to backub your airport gsx profiles in case you have modified some parking position): all reamining FSDT folders: fsdreamteam (in MSFS -> Packages AND in Community) as well as the virtuali folder (to be found Roaming).   I kept the Addon-Manager. After a restart an reinstallation - it is working fine. No pink tetrues anymore. So for those who are facing the same issue - this solved it for me.

When ever I try to update via the FSDT Updater or the installer I get the message "Server is down due to maintenance".
Uninstall and reinstalling did not solve the problem.
What can I do?

You should exit the Beta, there's no Beta anymore, the channel is completely empty right now.

If you are on 3.5.6 now, you are on release because, if you are still in the beta channel (which is empty), if you tried to update it would give you errors. Instead, the server is configured in a way that, if you download something from the (now empty) beta channel domain, it will automatically serve you the release version, which is now the latest one.

So, if you are on Beta, and you see 3.5.6, you are actually in release, and that's how's supposed to be, until we'll open a new beta.

Every time there's a GSX update I need to use the offline installer. It's now seven days since the latest update yet my Live Update still doesn't have the latest version. It's very frustrating. The local servers never seem to update (I'm in the UK).

Recently the pink textures have appeared on ramp vehicles. I'm reinstalling as per the forum post. It will be interesting to see what version I get when I reinstall.

EDIT: Reinstalling gave me v3.6.3, so why does Live update never give me a new version. Previously I was stuck on 3.5.8, which is what the last offline update I downloaded installed. The PackagesCache folder (which I had deleted as instructed) has the current date, previously it represented the date when I updated to 3.5.8 using offline update. Note, I've been using Live Update, not the Addon Manager to update GSX.

Still having the pink airport workers and invisible baggage carts and conveyer belts. Uninstall GSX, deleted the recommended folders, ran the offline installer, then ran the Live update and the same thing happens. Running MSFS2024 and trying it out on with the Fenix latest build

ThRun an update CHECK again, if it doesn't work, try the Offline installer. If it still doesn't work, run another update CHECK again after having installed the offline installer

I still have this issue: whenever I try to run an update, the FSDT Live Update program freezes and I have to kill it. My Windows 11 installation is perfectly clean, so I’m 100% sure the problem isn’t on my end. I’m forced to use the offline update instead… Updating GSX Pro has become a real nightmare.

The problem doesn't happen if GSX is installed correctly.

- Run an update CHECK with the FSDT installer

- If that doesn't work, install the Offline installer

- If that still doesn't works, run another update CHECK again after you installed the offline installer.

- If that still doesn't work, try updating using a VPN software.

If NONE of that works, you can be sure your GSX installation is fine so, if you are still missing objects, the problem doesn't have anything to do with GSX, and it's caused by the very well known maximum Simobject limit reached in the sim, due to too high settings, especially for AI traffic and Ground AI traffic. Lower these settings and also check all suggestions in t he GSX Manual, Page 95, in the chapter named "Missing Objects"

I followed your instructions regarding the pink textures and missing equipment. It worked, even without using the off line installer. Thanks, I am happy my family is going on board again.
One  "last" question: How do I get back the glass Jetways.

Is it possible for the official to send a changelog after the version is updated to let players know what new interesting features have been added, or what adjustments should be made to the configuration file?
