Error after updating.

The message is too big so I have to cut parts out.

Umberto, in another thread I took your advice and downloaded the full installer and installed the newer version.  It seemed okay on a couple of airports but just now when I landed at ORBX's KSTS and called for a Delta follow me truck I immediately got this:

The addon <unknown> is causing the Couatl Scripting Engine to restart.
Please download and install the latest Stand-Alone Addon Manager.
Do you want to open log to see error detail?

Please advise.

This looks like an error in the scenery AFCAD, like missing or unconnected nodes, orphaned nodes, etc. I guess it doesn't happen on other airports ?

Thanks for helping Umberto, now that you mention it, when I installed the new version, full installer, I said no when it asked me to download the latest AFCADS as I have no idea what an AFCAD is.

Could that have caused this?

Should I reinstall it and say yes?
Should I install the newer addon-manager?

No, because that question relates only to FSDT or Flightbeam AFCADs.

Should I install the newer addon-manager?

The problem is most likely an error in the scenery, so it won't be fixed by updating the Addon Manager. Could you send me the AFCAD for KSTS by email ? You can check its full pathname in the "Customize parking position" GSX dialog box.

I rolled back to a previous save and now KSTS is fine so it has to be the newer version.
Also, I don't like the way too sensitive follow me truck.  I have been in real-world aviation for 34 years and have never once seen a follow me truck leave a jet stranded on the taxiway.  At least they have radios to talk to the jet and the tower.  I wish there was a way to disable it or make it less sensitive.

So until this nonsense is fixed between KSTS and the follow me truck I'll stick with the old version.

If you mean the "aborted for safety reasons" message, there's obviously a way to disabled it. Discussed many times on the forum, and indicated in the Live Update notes.

The update improved DRAMATICALLY the Follow me car, which had plenty of bugs before, I really don't know how you could even think it was better. Unless you are referring to the "flee" function you don't like, which CAN be disabled, as explained above.

Ok, I didn't know this because despite my settings set to on to send an email reply I never knew it.  And I have been checking pm's and don't don't see any.  I'll check now.
