"There are no passenger stairs...not see pass visually"
« on: January 16, 2026, 03:57:20 pm »
Hey guys,

since the 3.7.5 Update very often I get the message "There are no passenger stairs, you will not see passengers visually" when I reached my parking position and start deboarding.
Even though the jetway is connected properly to my aircraft and there is no "Bad jetway data" or something.

Any suggestion what could fix that or is this a known bug?

Thanks for your time!

The problem cannot be related to the 3.7.5 update, and from your report it seems GSX couldn't find the jetway, so it assumed the gate has only stairs.

This might be a scenery conflict, or a simulator issue, which caused the Navdata API to report GSX there are no jetways, a GSX log would confirm this, and check if you got a "Bad jetway data" in the menu.

Another possible reason is using an outdated GSX airport profile for an airport that has changed, or just the wrong GSX profile (not made for that airport), or having multiple GSX profiles for the same airport (you should have only one, the correct one).

Happened just again at LTFM
If GSX or NavAPI told GSX that there is no Jetway, why did it move then, when I pressed the "Operate Jetway" in the GSX-Menu?

So far I cant confirm it is Scenery related, since on some positions it works on some it doesnt(on the same airport of course).
Also I got no "Bad Jetway Data" prompt from GSX.

I got only one profile not only for LTFM(by SceneryTR Design) -which I just finished yesterday btw- but also I take care that each airport has only one profile.
I adjusted the jetway heights as well, for which I tested the boarding multiple times on different gates. (no deboarding tested though)

I only have the panic log(which I luckily saved before closing the sim), since the diagnostic one is not yet activated as it seems, which I will take care of the next time I start the Sim.
However, I dont understand which error(s?) I am seeing there, please help me understand.
