Pink seated passengers on the Fly the Maddog 20th Anniversary Edition (MSFS2024)

Hello to all,

I'm writing this post because I'm having this issue with the Leonardo Simulation Fly the Maddog 20th Anniversary Edition for MSFS 2024: as mentionend in the title, the seated passengers in this addon are wrongly displayed with the infamous "pink textures". This issues happens only with the MD-80 (other 3rd party addons like PMDG 737/777, Fenix A320, works fine), and I tried with different metods, from the regular uncheck/check the addon in the FSDT Installer, unistall/reinstall the addon, and even run the FSDT Live Update, but sadly it didn't work.
I noticed that when I do the uncheck/check procedure in the dedicated seated passengers window, the installer doen't scan the installed liveries like in other addons, so maybe it doen't detected them?

same for me mate! But i faced the issue only on installed "official" liveries (Alitalia and AAA, installed by the "maddog livery manager"), while in the integrated LSH livery passengers are always visible.


Tried several times with FSDT Installer, followed pag 99 of the manual but nothing changed.
These are the folders in community directory:

For me not even the official liveries works. Even with them the textures are missing.

In my case, all the liveries installed doesn't work. I also tried to unistall and reinstall GSX, but with no luck...

Hi Umberto. For me works only with the Leonardo SH livery, the one installed in the main aircraft folder. The other three liveries, as indicated in the picture above (Alitalia I-DAVD, I-DAWG and American AA N970W), have pink textures with passengers seated.
Tried to reinstall liveries, update GSX, remove and reapply "seated pax" in FSDT Config...with no success.

As further proof i've just tried another livery...this time i've downloaded one from flightsim.to (link https://flightsim.to/file/37699/alitalia-i-dati-fly-the-maddog-x).
And BAAM...this time it works!!! With this livery I've passengers seated with correct textures.

Tried again with one from official repository (I-DAWG - L'Aquila) and again...pink textures!

Hello again Helvis,

It seems that with the latest update (3.7.5) they managed to fix this issue, I'm tried right now with the Meridiana livery, and it works just fine.

Sadly now I'm having other issues...
With the "seated passengers" enabled, the aircraft doen't display correctly, but the plane looks "skeletonized". It doesn't happen with all the liveries, but with just some of them, like Alitalia or Alaska, other ones like Meridiana works fine.
I'm gonna open another topic. Are you experiencing the same issue Hellvis?

Hi, I don't know if this was a problem of GSX or Leonardo. Anyway i've issued the same problem and I've used these steps to resolve:
- I've deactivated seated passengers
- Redone all layout.json in all "LSH" folders (aircraft+liveries) with "MSFSLayoutGenerator"
- Reactivated seated passengers

This works for me, hope the same for you!
Waiting for a check from FSDT.

It could be redoundant, i know, but the installer not solved the problem (unchecked/checked). With MSFSLayoutGenerator instead I solved the issue.
