It's been a while

Hi, since it has been the longest break in updates since GSX pro released, and you're not visiting the community Discord anymore, I wanted to ask if a big update is in the works and what it will be? Many customers are wondering, so it would be interesting to know whats in the oven for us, thanks.

Honestly, I fear that some private issues are the cause of this. Hopefully nothing sincere...

EDIT: must be blind, there is an answer from Umberto from 28th of October, so disregard what I wrote before...

I think you have been spoiled by the abnormal and out of the ordinary (and for some users even confusing) too fast rate of updates in the past months.

We are working on the Cleaning Crew, which while it seemed like a simple function, required a profound rewrite of our animation system, starting with writing new tools from scratch to make it easier to test animations in the sim to check for problems, how they look like, logic issues, etc.

This is not "just" for doing cleaning crews, of course: we plan to improve all areas where human animations are concerned, to better the existing ones and add entirely new services in the future, so it's an investment for the future of GSX, which required an deep reworking of many tools and workflow, and new methods to give some awareness of characters against each other (to reduce or prevent clashing between them), which was clearly required to have several characters performing various actions in the very cramped space of the airplane corridors.

That sounds brilliant Umberto. I'm looking forward to new and improved features, and I'm sure everyone else is, too! Thank you.

Is there a ballpark timeline to it?
