Every single time an update comes out, GSX makes a complete mess on my system. See attached screenshot.

I deactivated and uninstalled mine. Loving the faster load times now of MSFS. Sure I miss the ground activity and such, but after all the errors after the last update, I'm fine without them.

YES.....GSX has always been a piece of S__T. Only way to get rid of errors is to UNINSTALL

You forgot to add "on your system"
GSX has been working on my system for years in FSX, P3D MS2020 and now 2024. It has a few quirks from time to time but I can't remember the last time an update caused a major issue.
Most problems I see on here and on the discord tend to be issues with either system set up incorrectly, people not reading the manual, expecting sommething that just isn't possible. It's not a perfect addon, nothing ever is but rarely is it a GSX problem despite what people think.

Have you tried supplying logs rather than hurling insults at the product and Umberto?

Brian

I’ve had the product for awhile and until recently it ran flawlessly.

Starting with the updater not updating, I downloaded the offline installer and have had nothing but issues since.

Crashes, Coatl not running (just a spinning icon), pink ground crew, missing vehicles, (invisible catering trucks and luggage loaders), etc.

Uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing.

So yeah, I’ve given up on it too. Shame, but I cannot deal with these issues any longer.

The intent of my original post was not to bash the product but rather bring attention to the problem I am having with my system every time a new update comes out.

I understand not everyone is having the same problem, but I was hoping someone who might have experienced the same issue as mine, would pipe up and offer a suggestion. When it is working, I love the program. But just frustrated I have the same problem with every update.

Hi Mike my comments were not aimed at you but the poster who's only contribution is to disparage the product and support without actually providing any meaningful data.
I've not experienced the probems you are having but a few searches shows that some of these issues can be caused by incorrect data from the coudflared node that you connect to when you update. This is neither a you problem or a FSDT problem but one fo cloudflare not updating thier nodes quick enough.
I would Try downloading the offline installer, completely uninstalling any current versions of GSX you have and then re-installing it from the off line installer. once you have done that then go and run the updater. that should then ensure you are on the latest version.
Make sure any antivirus you may have including defender is not blocking either the installation or the downloads by excluding the folder you have FSDT installed in. I have all my 3rd party stuff installed on one drive and I have the whole drive excluded this may also help prevent stutters in sim when flying.
Failing alll that I can only suggest you raise a ticket if you haven't done so already and maybe try asking on th eGSX discord as there are people on there more qualified than I to help with your problem.
best of luck
Brian

I keep getting this error message when trying to update or redownload GSX.

Delete directoryC:\program files (x86)Addon Manager\MSFS\Fsdreamteam-gsx-world-of-jetways-2020\AirportServices failed

Anyone has a fix?

Every single time an update comes out, GSX makes a complete mess on my system. See attached screenshot.

Your screenshot clearly prove the problem doesn't have anything to do with GSX, and it's caused by a problem on your local cloudflare node, because it's saying the latest version is 3.6.6, when version 3.6.6 is nowhere to be found on our server, we only have 3.6.8

If your local cloudflare node is serving you wrong/outdated files, you can expect nothing will work correctly, because if even the version number is wrong, who know what else might be outdated.

When you suspect the problem might be related to network (and that version is clearly a tell-tale of that), the first thing to do is trying the Offline installer, linked in the Sticky thread of this forum.

However, the Offline installer is not complete, it will only give you the latest GSX code, not models/objects/textures, so it would be best if you fix your network issue and run the normal update online. This might be solved using a VPN software, which will connect you to another node of another country, I suggest something in Western Europe or the US.
