But you ignore the fact that it does not work on OUR system, even after following your steps, and we have posted screenshots proving that. Also, I am not running P3D version 5. I am running P3D version 4.5 and I'm running Windows 10 Pro.
You keep failing to read my posts accurately enough. In my previous post of this very thread after it was cleaned up (so yesterday), I posted screenshots of BOTH P3D 4 and P3D 5 again.
The 2nd post I made was by testing by doing a full uninstall and reinstall from scratch, so I only posted a P3D 5 screenshot but sure, here's the P3D 4 screenshot.
About the OS, I'm running Windows 11 of course, since Windows 10 went out of support in October 2025, so I updated to Windows 11 shortly after that, because I cannot provide support running an unsupported OS myself. That's on main main dev PC, I have two other PCs which already came with Windows 11 preinstalled, so there's no way I'll be able to test in Windows 10 anymore.
However, the whole OS discussion is useless: if there was a software problem at large that would make it incompatible with Windows 10, GSX won't work, since it runs exactly on the same software required by KSDF, so there's no way a possible OS issue would affect one but not the other so, it must be something else entirely.
Maybe you can try a manual clean up like I did in my last test:
- Uninstall KSDF from the Windows Control Panel. DO NOT reply YES to the question "Do you want to remove the Addon Manager"
- Go in the main Addon manager folder and remove these folders (assuming the default installation path, if not, use yours):
c:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\FsDreamTeam\KSDF
c:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\Simobjects\Misc\FSDT_KSDF
- Download the latest KSDF installer (just to be sure you don't have an outdated version) and reinstall it.
- Let it perform the update, which will update both he scenery and GSX.
- Start the sim, and let it rebuild the airport cache, it might take a while on the first startup, so don't interrupt it.
