I have recently reinstalled the whole installer with the GSX Pro as well due to an error message, and after downloading it again, in the config menu the jetways were not there.
This is completely normal and, you shouldn't have seen GSX replacement jetways in 2024 even before.
The only reason why you saw them in the previous version, was because if you had both MSFS 2020 and 2024 installed, you were WARNED that GSX replacement jetways are not compatible with MSFS 2024, so you should disable them, but it ASKED, because doing so would disable them in 2020 as well. So, if you replied NO to the question, it would keep GSX jetway replacement files active in 2024 as well, which would cause all sort of issues, since they are not supposed to be used there, because they are made with airport data for MSFS 2020, so they will only cause conflicts in 2024.
Users with just 2024 installed, wouldn't have got any alert, and would have jetways disabled automatically.
With this update, instead, the GSX replacement jetways now come in a separate package, which is not even installed in 2024, and the obvious benefits are:
- You are no longer asked if you want to disable them in 2024, so you won't suffer from conflicts because you choose not to disable them like in the previous version.
- You can use them in 2020 even if you have both simulators installed, so you are no longer forced to renounce to them in 2020 as it used to be.
