Im not going anywhere yet.  Lets just see how this pans out.  We know he has been banned from the Acceleration forums, so we will see what happens.

This sounds interesting:

Quote
We know at least one other developer working on a naval simulation right now with plans to adopt the TacPack SDK. We'd very much like to see if we can't coalesce several simulations like that into a multi-role paradigm. A campaign system is on the table, it's feasible, and it's something we're going to consider.

A Tacpac mod of the accel hornet would rock in this enviroment.
Yes, I requested that of them as well.  They didn't make any promises.  But, I believe that they will really consider this and perhaps Aerosoft's & Iris' F-16's as possible candidates.  The "Future" Aerosoft Tomcat might also make it into their post Phase II - "Authentic Custom Gauge Release set."
That will go well with the Naval Simulation addon they could model the entire aircraft for a carrier group with that.

FSX@WAR
This is a mod for the VRS TACPAC which I think is $29US(for TACPAC) when they finish it but combined with this freeware mod looks quite good.

Looks quite awesome maybe someone could mod a C for TACPAC one day when the SDK is released.

Nice, love how it's been standard on the VRS, great to take a few hits and see how the normally easy to fly Super Bug becomes a bear real quick!

VRS Tacpac is now open beta for those who pre-ordered it.

Finally MP combat for FSX with TACPAC

Heres some pics of Tacpac in action this mission here was vs a SAM site.

The Superhornet now has alot more detail and the A/G radar works really well, still trying to get the FLIR to work though might have to read more of the manual.

After changing IFF codes I then tried to fly over a SAM site from the other team.

Yes SAMs are deadly.

Using the Tacpac object placement tool I place a SAM site for me to blow up.

Virtual speed brake in action

Using mode 4 IFF the SAM site interrogates my aircraft and confirms we are on the same side. I now fly away from the SAM site and change my mode 4 IFF code from 1000 to code 2000 so now I am on a different side to the SAM and it will now engage me.

Time to engage the SAM, decoys trailing me and chaff/flares set for auto with jammer engaged.

As can be seen Tacpac has some really good features such as being able to place a SAM site, Carrier, Tanker and drone anywhere you want and to change team sides is as simple as switching IFF codes in mode 4. This opens FSX up to some really good mp combat and with the SDK hopefully we'll see ships, tanks, helicopters and every other jet modded to be able to join in to some massive combat operations.

Time to do carrierops so using Tacpac object placement I placed a carrier(one of Javiers carriers) to do some landings with vLSO running in the back ground.

And time to launch again.
