I don't know how to make any sense out of this.  Was having the same issues as others and followed the instructions here.  Eventually one time the GSX box popped up letting me warp to another gate.  Then rebooted sim and now gsx box won't pop up anymore.  To make it even stranger just rebooted and back to the message about the scripting engine not being found.

still not starting after re-installed

I've also tried the update function, seems like those files are going into P3D folder, not sure if this is the reason? I still run P3Dv5 and GSX on same computer

Works for me. 
changing the administrator permissions from read-only to full control for the GSX PRO folders and subfolders (including the shortcut created in "community", in all its folders and restarting couatl as administrator without having to close the simulator. After the cache is fully read, you click on the GSX tab again. For me it solved it. It's a permission and read only problem in the module files.

Please don't post screenshot, but post the log, so I could see which version you started.

I accidentally found something interesting: GSX menu launches within MSFS when the product is not activated, once I activate it doesn't run.

Purchased GSX yesterday and I was suffering the same issue as many users over here, about GSX not launching.

After reading and applying all the workarounds described in this thread without success, this morning I tried to reinstall my FSDT addons from scratch, and accidentally discovered that GSX ran if I don’t activate the product within the FSDT installer.

Steps performed:

1.   Deactivated and uninstalled all FSDT products within FSDT installer.
2.   Uninstalled the FSDT installer and deleted the Addon Manager folder.
3.   Reinstalled the FSDT installer and then GSX and other products.
4.   Started MSFS and GSX immediately opened with a yellow “Warp to trial mode airport” message shown in the GSX main menu.
5.   Found I forgot to activate GSX within FSDT installer, so I closed MSFS and proceeded to activate GSX with my key.
6.   Relaunched MSFS and GSX menu is not shown again.

Could this be a licensing issue instead of other causes?

Spent a few hours on this tried std airports and all the suggestions here it was a clean install and i've updated a couple of ttimes just to make sure.

Any suggestions i didnt expected this to be still in beta I have a fairly clean install and have only 1 add on airport (not using that currently)

I get COUATL not loaded after starting a flight then, if i externally restart coutl when i hit the GSX button no menu appears

installation went ok

This specific error has been discussed in several posts, and it's the sure indication you haven't got the latest files, because the servers in your area haven't completed sync all new files, see here:

I had same issue. The reason is we installed gsx for p3d/fsx before. So, gsx for msfs and p3d are same folder. I uninstalled all gsx versions and re-instaled gsx for msfs only, it is working great now

Wasted an ENTIRE day with this and nothing works. If this is GSX Pro, I have been robbed.

thanks i was hoping to keep my p3d gsx config i've done a lot of work on it and still use it
why are these 2 products not working together and why are servers not updating with the correct files. If this is the case does the installer not pick this up that a file has been updated but its cache is stale ?
i dont use anything else that's like this. If I hit the fsdt update button again it seems to run through a lot of files each time. i.e. it never says no update required
is this still in beta?  i've just spent hours today looking at 1990's log files
Example : Flybywire installer , you have a couple of versions of the aircraft and it keeps everything updated and that's freeware- never had an issue
questions
1)Is there any way for me to get this working and not have to uninstall all the other gsx products ?
2) If I wait until tomorrow or next week, will cloudflare be updated with the correct file so that just hitting the update button will fix this

Reinstalled countless times now and absolutely nothing works.
My P3d has now been screwed by this release.
