I would still prefer to use a normal jetway like in reality. The 747 on your screenshot is not a good example, because on the A380 the doors 1L and 2L (lower deck) and 1L on the upper deck are used for boarding. As the first door on the upper deck is positioned behind the lower deck 2L it can be reached without problems with the normal jetway on the google earth screenshot. The first two jetways will reach the lower deck doors 1L and 2L as usual. The third jetway will connect to the upperdeck's 1L and therefor be tiltet a bit upwards. I've never seen an A380 being boarded through 4L.

On this photo you can see how an A380 is boarded when all jetways have the same height like on you Google Earth screenshot:

And I think the A380 problem is not so imminent as long as we don't have a good A380 simulation. 747 and other planes are boarded through 1L and 2L only on most of the airports today.

Thanks for the info that schiphol ordered those new jetways for the aft doors - I'm very curious why they removed the big jetways for the aft doors of the 747 they had until some years ago if they order the same concept now again.

oh really? i did not know that our standard jetways (not the upperdecK) can reach a 2floor of an a380.. Did you try it? that would be good news, otherwise, having 3 normal jetways on a parking is quite usless.. I have never ever seen a a380 flying on Vatsim.. maybe because the ones on the market are very very bad. 
You have not seen it because is around the corner, it is the future.. if is great for an A320, imagine for a 747 with 4 times the passangers... I read that EHAM (in real life is going to place them for 747).. cant stop the future: https://www.denverpost.com/2006/09/07/united-debuts-new-jet-bridge/  .. But dont worry, when i release the new version in the future for EGLL i will consider to leave the third jetway a standard one, although, it will not be of any use...

nop, you read in the previous configuration (that i removed from the bunch) folder of AS EDDH, that AS configuration will be removed and replaced by EDDH, although never said when. But yes, is for next fridays publication with another new scenery to celebrate 10,000 readers.

No sorry I didn't I know that the real 3rd jetways in LHR can do it like you can see on the Foto, but I did not yet try it with the ones from GSX V2

Hello guys,

I had a message from someone saying my configuration file for EKCH was giving him a very long error.. PLEASE remember to update the FSDT LIVE so you can get the latest liveries,logos,colors etc... otherwise if I place a logo that you dont have, for not having the latest additions, it will give you an error.


This is the example of error (as you can see, always mentions a logo... this is the Copenhaguen Airport Logo ('FSDT_SODE_JW_JBT_2_5_LOGO_CPH') that was added in the last version, if you dont have it, it will give you an error:

*************  VIP  UPDATE OF EDDF FILES ****************
Hello guys!

I found the hard way that if you change the name of an .ini file, GSX totall screws your configuration (there were plenty of jetways without numbers or adds). I also found that there were a few parkings on EDDF that had a docking when in fact i should not. 

So make sure that if you have downloaded v3 for EDDF before today, just check you have the ini file for EDDF that has todays date and time 09:32am.

Sorry about this, but this GSX2 is so new, that we are forced to learn by try and error.

i have looked at two gsx level 2 configs for EHAM. while yours is available for the all open scenario and the other is just for the east scenario for runways. i have to add that Amsterdam only has steel jetways. therefore i find the other option more realistic at EHAM.

Well as you have probably seen EHAM is a version that has not even the FULL (needles to say V3) category on it, so is a very undone version still... i will get there one day. But if you find a better version go for it!

not at this moment... will do in the future if FlyTampa wishes me to do it.. I dont buy sceneries of places I dont fly to for this project. Another different issue is if the develper wants me to do it.. this friday i will publish anohter develper that has joined the Cartayna Files project donating all his sceneries if I do his configurations... There is a long way to go, and takes huge amount of time to do each, large airports suchs as OMDB with perfect pushbacks included never less than 10h.

Hello guys, and happy Black Friday!

Today, being this date, I am bringing you 2 new liveries instead of 1, and 6 upgrades to v3, of which one of them I am sure you are gonna love... but I leave this for last... So here are the news:

First I purchased for this day in SimMarket.com EDDH-Hamburg by JustSim which i think it has resulted in a preaty neat configuration... but I leave that for you to judge.  

Second on the new scenery news, this weeks again, www.SimFlight.de & www.SimMarket.com sponsored one scenery that I am sure is going to have many of you very veyr happy: EGKK - Gatwick from UK2000, COMPLETELY
configured (yeap, no fixed jetways!!) using the best AFCAD that there is... don't you worry, every thing is explained in detail in the instructions that the sponsored configuration always comes with!

And what is this "NF" attached to a V3? ...Since I am not ready for a v4,  first, all configurations must be finished in v3... I am exploring meny petitions of users such as giving different versions of same configurations and this is something that i have to really think about.  So "NF" means that fixed jetways that can not be excluded, can be removed and my configuration NF, has all jetways including those that are fixed.  Also in the pack you will find the easy instruction on how to do that, without breaching the copyright, which is something I would never dear to do. I respect the work of this great developers that are giving us so much with their amazing work... But indeed I have found that some of them can be fixed (or should say unfixed), with out the need of illegally sharing bgl files.... So today I bring you, a version for this "unfix" scenery... yeap, EGLL Heathrow V3-NF. You can finally enjoy the scenery with more double jetways in our world... I hope you enjoy it!

Also some of you have asked me.. hey, what about our UK2000 EGLL? Weeel here is another news, Gary from UK2000 has decided to joining this project by donating all his most important sceneries of UK, so I can bring them to
you in V3!! yeap, i will go again into Heathrow and is over 200 parkings till it works as good as SimWings!  It is going to take a lot of work, but UK2000 deserves it, every 2 weeks, in addition to the weekly sponsored
scenery of Simflight.de & SimMarket.com, I will bring you: Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heathrow, & Manchester.. And guess what? here is the scoop: UK2000 is working for a soon to be released of his major sceneries to contain
SODE jetways, thus our configurations will be easy to install and no tricks to remove jetways will be necessary in the very near future!  Thanks GARY!

To end this, the other 5 upgrades that add to EGLL-V3-NF are: EDDM-Taxi2Gate, ELLX-JutSim, LEAS-RFSB, LEMG-SimWings, LJLJ-RFSB...

As usual, if you find any error on my behalf, i beg you to send me a message privately so I can solve it for you and if we see at the end that is an error of the configuration, i would notify the rest..
