Anyone here tried the VRS Superhornet? I have to say it is quite an awesome addon for FS9.

Heres a link to the VRS site.
http://www.vrsimulations.com/

They are hopefully going to make an FSX version next year the FS9 version is quite cool the aircraft is quite good to fly all the procedures are straight out of the manual.

It won't work in FSX? If they do make one for FSX i hope it doesn't need a dual core prosscer. I only have a single. Does this come on a disk or only downloaded?

I think I might need an upgrade as I plan on getting the Pro version for FSX at this stage its download only for FS9 version but its well worth it.

Well actually heres is what you can do:
Electronic warfare:
You can detect SAMs with the RWR, you can jam them and deploy the decoy/chaff and flares. The SAMs can fire at you and damage your aircraft and you can fire Harms back in PB, TOO or self protect mode.(this destroys the search radar broadcast)
A/G:
You can deliver JDAMs to a tgt coordinates and fire mavericks and guns but there is no damage to ground tgts. You can also deliver bombs using MAN or CCIP as well.
A/A
You can lock AI aircraft and launch Aim120s, Aim 9s at the tgt once destroyed the aircraft disappears off radar.
CAT launch:
Requires the end speed to be calculated prior to launch.

You can also inflight refuel and the damage model covers alot of the aircrafts real life avionics which you can find solutions for in either the kneeboard or the NATOPs manual. I think the FSX pro version is probably bound to have even more detail its possible to destroy ground tgts in FSX so I'll wait and see how that works out definately getting it though.

Does all that come with the package? FSX isn't really designed as a combat simulator, so this all must come with the program? And what do sams look like in FSX?

How did you make the elevator raise you to the deck or did it? Did it just go down and not up? ???
