Autogen around the Airport **SOLVED**
« on: July 09, 2014, 07:06:31 am »
There appears to be flattened buildings/autogen around the airport. Is this by design, or is something wrong on my end?

Well for one take screen shot by pressing V.. Then you have to turn into a jpeg or it will become too big to send anywhere.. So after pressing V. It will send it too a folder usually under  pictures, it should have a FSX folder for pictures.. Go into that folder click on it then at top go to preview & then paint & save it as Jpeg, then in order paste to the forum, your going to have to do a search because you have to get a url to have it show up on this forum we use..

but that's how it basically works.. Easy part is taking the picture from FSX & changing it too a jpeg, I always have issues finding a site to change it too a url that will work with forum..

No luck in posting screen shots. There are images of flattened buildings blurry streets in the area covered by this software.

You might want to read the following post by Umberto http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,3076.0.html. If no one can see what you are taking about, I doubt if there will be any solutions offered.

There's nothing wrong in your screenshot. That's how the scenery is supposed to look like, we haven't modeled anything outside the airport perimeter, save for those trees.

Except it looks like the Jolly Green Giant stepped on all the buildings. It that airport property?

I have attached more screen shots. There are a lot of areas that are within area covered by this software that have flattened buildings and streets.

It would have been better if you included coordinates in your screenshots. However, as I've said, we haven't modeled anything in 3d outside the airport perimeter, while you are using the term "areas covered by this software", so it seems you think the area is larger than the airport perimeter, but it's not.

I don't recognize the photorealistic background in your screenshot (again, it was more difficult by the lack of coordinates), so it seems what you are seeing is a 3rd photorealistic scenery that extends more than KIAH airport perimeter, and THAT one is missing autogen.

You were right. There was a third party KIAH that was still installed. I removed it and everything is beautiful!
Thank you!!! ;D
