Louisville does no longer work in P3D5

I recently discovered, that Louisville is not correctly showing in my P3D5.3. I reinstalled it several times. The product is installed and active according to the program manager but it looks like this



I have no clue, what is wrong. All other 12 FSDT sceneries are perfect. Cuoatl, addon manager and gsx run and are present in the drop down menu.

Any help is appreciated.

I could resolve the issue. I had to uninstall the addon manager too when uninstalling Louisville. Then I had to reinstall GSX and later Louisville and this worked.

That's insane; it doesn't explain what broke it. I'm having the same issue as the OP. I wish they would push a fix. I have many edits to Hawaii scenery and KLAS, I don't want to repeat if I need to uninstall everything. Umberto and his dev team need to push an update to fix this!

This method did work for me as well but it shows live update or something broke KSDF louisville!

In my system, only Louisville was no longer working . I too have a lot of fsdt sceneries (13) but stopped editing these. I recommend you to keep a copy of the edited files somewhere else on the system with the same file structure and after running the update, you could just copy them in again.

I consider to no longer update, since most updates are not for FSX/P3D, but MSFS and some oddities were never fixed the last 14 years, so no hope suddenly this will be done. I hardly use GSX anymore, just the airports.

Thanks for the advice. I'm making backups this time. I do use the FSDT installer and update GSX for MSFS. I noticed that the exclude file was missing from my P3D add organizer, and when I reinstalled it, it returned. Perhaps the exclusion file not being there might be the issue? I'm not sure. I'll experiment later to try to recreate the problem, but everything works now, thanks to your suggestions for the complete reinstallation of the manager and the scenery.

Hello Dan,
thanks for your post, I just discovered that my KSDF has gone.
Please elaborate more on what and how to de-install the addon manager.
I could de-install the 'Virtuali Addon Manger'. Also KSDF.

However,
after re-installing FSDT_Universal_Installer.exe and then ksdf_fsx_setup.exe,
automatically the FSDT updater starts,
which I understood you propose *not* to use anymore.
So, how to prevent this?

Same here. No scenery at KSDF, all other FSDT scenery I've tried seems fine.

I've attached a log, in case that helps at all.

Reinstalling GSX/KSDF/Addon Manager did not work for me.

But, what DID work was to go into Options -> Add Ons, and disable "FsDreamTeam Exclude". After that, the KSDF scenery suddenly appeared.

Interestingly, I re-enabled "FsDreamTeam Exclude", but the scenery remained. So... some sort of cache issue?

Unchosing FSDT Excludes in Add-ons does not work for me.

What about a proper fix without quirks??

We have paid for the KSDF scenery.

Hello William,
would it be possible that you share

• a screenshot of your KSDF/scenery (I attached mine)
• the number files in your KSDF/texture directory ... I find 120 files
• a screenshot of your C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\FsDreamTeam\Exclude directory (cf. second attachement)
• the content of your C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager\FsDreamTeam\Exclude\scenery directory ... I only find 000_GMMX_GSX_JWEXCL.BGL therein, so I am not surprised that your unchecking method of the excludes does not work for me.

Since FSDT shows disappointingly little interest in their forum, maybe the customers find viable solutions...

So, clearly not related at all to WHAT is being excluded. The only exclude I have is for YSSY.

The other files you are asking about are going to be identical, because the FSDT universal installer just mirrors the files.

If none of the above workarounds help you, then you're going to have to wait for Umberto to have a chance to look.
