FSX not Closing
« on: February 01, 2012, 09:15:55 pm »
Everything works okay until I shut the flight simulator down. Everything closes but the FSX.EXE 32 will not. It also does not allow the goflight program to close either. Any Ideas?

It's supposed to work in the opposite way:

it's FSX that, by closing itself, will command all its modules (loaded either in the DLL.XML or the EXE.XML) to close down, it's really strange that everything closes but FSX.

Yes I know, FSX is usly the last to close. Maybe the GoFlight Program is hold up the FSX.EXE. It all use to close out that way until adding GSX.

Maybe you can try rearranging the loading order of modules in the EXE.XML and see if it makes any difference.

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX\EXE.XML

Each module has its own section enclosed by <Launch.Addon> and  </Launch.Addon> tags. If you move all the lines of a section, including the  <Launch.Addon></Launch.Addon> lines, you'll are altering the loading order of the modules in the EXE.XML file.

You need to select "Open With..." and choose Notepad to edit it.

Thanks shuts down now. GoFlight Program needs to be last to close all.
