Afterward Catering vehicle colliding with fuel truck
« on: December 04, 2025, 01:31:43 pm »
Hi,
Is there a way to fix this? (see screenshot)

With shorter airplanes (eg. A319) it's even worse.

Maybe a fix could be relocate differently the fuel truck?

Also, is there a way (maybe in the future) to implement more realistic animations for ground crew?

Eg. Closing airplane doors, removing chock and cones?

In my opinion, it's a lack of realism if before start up, everything disappear, like for magic haha.

I understand you have bigger problems to solve, but these " little bugs" could be managed simplier and faster (?)

Cheers.

None of these are "bugs", you shouldn't confuse the lack of a feature (like extra crew animations) as bugs, they are just things we don't have (YET). A "bug" would be advertising a feature which doesn't work.

The catering has that size and the fuel truck has that size and the airplane door have that distance so, other than waiting for having a larger selection of vehicles ( so a smaller fuel truck might arrive for smaller airplanes), the problem is caused by having selected Fueling and Catering at the same time.

This happened likely because you are using the Fenix, and one of the option of its automation is Fuel+Catering -> Boarding. If you set it to Boarding->Fuel, and call Catering separately, the issue is fixed.

Another option is disabling the rear Catering door, so only the front catering will arrive.

Thank you so much Umberto for the prompt reply!

I will follow your suggestions :)

About ground crew animations? Is it something that you are planning to do in the future?

Cheers

P.s
Is there a way to enable underground refueling all the time and disable the fuel truck?
