Whenever I launch MSFS2024, go to an airport and open the GSX for the first time by clicking the menu. Window opens and then closes immediately. I very briefly, for a second see the wheels spinning and then the window closes.
99% of the times this problem that has been reported many times, it's always caused by having the two GSX packages in the Community folder being "real folders" instead of "shortcuts", usually caused by having copied them manually trying to fix it, but also when doing a restore of the Community without taking care how the backup and restore method used deal with Symbolic links, so they might have been transformed into real folder without realizing it.
In general, you shouldn't backup the GSX packages, since they are taking zero space (they are just links) so, when you do a backup of the whole Community folder, it's best to remove the two GSX packages from it first, and then after restoring click RELINK in the FSDT Installer to restore them properly.
Check if this is really the case: if one or both GSX packages in the Community folder are real folders (so they are missing the small arrow in Explorer file view), REMOVE THEM BOTH, then start the FSDT Installer, choose MSFS 2024 and click RELINK.
