GSX Leaving a 'BAR' from popup Window in Cockpit View

Hi, don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but recently started a flight in MSFS 2024 and every time I activate the GSX popup window in the cockpit a 'bar' shows up that can't be removed. The bar looks like what you would see at the top of the popup window though it is separate from the popup window itself. Did a 'CHECK' on the application with the installer but that didn't help. The Couatl does not start either. An error says it failed to start and it just sits there spinning with the message looping (I have attached a Couatl logfile per posted instructions). I have all community folder addons disabled when trying to run GSX (MSFS 2024 bare bones).

I don't experience this issue in MSFS 2020 using GSX. Never seen this before and don't have a clue what to try next. Any advice appreciated.

The "bar" might be the message tooltip that can't be removed, because you closed the menu in the wrong way (from the toolbar with a mouse click) instead of using it as explained in the manual, always closing it with the X icon OR the hotkey.

If you close the menu with the mouse, the menu code that is normally supposed to remove the last tooltip, will be stopped immediately by the sim (that's how toolbar menus work, nothing we can do to prevent it), so the tooltip will be stuck there.

After reading your reply I went back to make a short video of this problem because I believed we were working on two separate thoughts about the problem and wanted to clear things up and interestingly, upon running MSFS2024 today the problem had disappeared. Got no clue what changed because I haven't touched MSFS2024 since posting the issue. When I started MSFS2024 today and went up to the on screen menu to activate GSX it popped right up and loaded. If you recall, I described GSX was not loading at all before, it would just sit there and spin and eventually give the error described in my original post. Everytime I activated GSX that 'bar' would pop up along side of it while it was trying to load. In other words, the bar didn't show because of trying to close out GSX, it appeared when starting GSX, and would then remain on the screen thence. This is why I wanted to make the video so you could clearly see how the error occurred but unfortunately when I started MSFS2024 today to make the video I found GSX working for God knows what reason. So, not much to discuss at this point. If it reoccurs I'll get back with you. Thanks for responding though, much appreciated.
