Hello FSDT Team,

I have the Message Verbosity set to Display Only Important Messages so as not to have every single text message scrolling by each time something happens. However, as the loading of passengers progresses on larger aircraft, it would be nice to know when the boarding is close to being complete, thereby allowing the pilot(s) to plan when to start the APU or prepare for push & start.

Could you please consider adding the passengers boarding number to the Display Only Important Messages option in the GSX Settings menu?

Thank you and best regards,

Mark

Not sure what are you asking to be add, but if you open the GSX icon from bottom when boarding, you will see that GSX is counting the numbers of passengers when boarding from total that should be in the flight plan. Just take a look every now and then, and when are left like 10 passengers to be boarding, you can start the APU and do your things.

What I am asking is that the boarding passenger count be displayed automatically on screen, without having to open the GSX menu each time to check how many have actually boarded.

without having to open the GSX menu each time to check how many have actually boarded.

Your problem is not that you should open the menu but, maybe, that you are closing it in the wrong way (with a mouse click on the toolbar). The GSX manual, pages 91-92, explains in detail how to use the menu (close it with the X icon, or with the hotkey), and all side effects of not following this method, which includes losing all text messages on screen.
