You don't say which simulator you use, you don't say which airports you use, and if the jetways you are referring to are GSX replacement jetways for default airports.
Assuming yours is the the only case where GSX might be involved in issues with jetways, which is MSFS 2020, at bare default airports (not handcrafted/premium and surely not 3rd party), which is the only case in which you are supposed to see GSX replacement jetways (in all other cases, they must be disabled)
If this is your case, be sure you update GSX to the latest version, because in the latest version we updated all jetway replacement files to match MSFS 2020 recent SU16 Navdata, so jetways from GSX would now 100% match default airports updated to SU16, so their placement (good or bad), would match the ones from Asobo, just with a different model.
Instead, if you case is different, like:
- using MSFS 2024 (where no GSX jetways are even installed),
- using MSFS 2020 with handcrafted or 3rd party airports (where you should Disable all these airports from being replaced by GSX)
Basically, if you see either default jetways models or you see 3rd party jetways on a 3rd party airport, it means any problems you might have with jetways, is completely unrelated with GSX, which has no control over jetways, the only thing you must be sure of, is disabling GSX jetways on non-default airports.
