update 3.5.8 messed up career mode on msfs 2024
« on: June 30, 2025, 06:41:50 pm »
Hello, since updating GSX Pro to version 3.5.8, the push-back procedure in career mode has stopped working. The push-back tug does not load. I'm using the live version of SU2, not the SU3 beta. I only figured it out that after unlinking GSX Pro, everything started to work again.

GSX Pro in MSFS 2024 doesn't install any custom airport services, which might possibly have some effect on the default Pushback. GSX own pushback is completely separate from the default one, doesn't have any interaction with it, and the default pushback tug is not removed by GSX until after you select a gate with it.

is the default pushback not working in career mode only, or even in free flight ?

I dunno about free flight. I usually use GSX in freeflight, all I know since the recent GSX update, push back doesn't work in career mode unless I unlink GSX.

We found the problem, and it was related to an issue with the Livery Manager not handling the default replacement pushback correctly (it shouldn't have handled it at all), it's fixed in 3.5.9, which will be released later today.
