GSX Profiles arent working
« on: June 20, 2025, 08:01:50 pm »
Hello,

my GSX Profiles arent working. I downloaded the official airport profile for example for Aerosoft EDDL and EDDF from flightsim.to and unzipped it. I put it into the folder APPDATA/ROAMING/VIRTUALI/GSX/MSFS. I checked it by spawning in the same gate as a friend and started the Pushback procedure. My friend got Different Options on which Taxiway etc. meanwhile i got only the default Left, Right, etc. I checked multiple airports to rule out that it is due to the profile but thats not even nescessary since we downloaded the same profile. I run Live Update Multiple times, Reinstalled multiple times(including deleting the Addon manager) and the Addon manager folder is excluded in my antivirus program. I also reseted my whole PC cause of other issues including MSFS.
Thank you for answers

If you check the airport customization page, it will show which profile has been loaded, so there are two possible outcomes:

- GSX is loading another profile, because you might have another one for the same airport in the %APPDATA% folder. As the manual explains, it's your responsibility to verify you don't have more than one profile for the airport and it's the correct one, since there's no way for GSX to automatically associated a profile with a specific scenery, so if there are more than one, you can't be sure which one will be loaded.

- You have a scenery conflict, so the data GSX is receiving from the sim is not correct for the profile, which will be rejected automatically if the differences are too many. You don't say which simulator you use, but the most common case of conflicts ( in MSFS 2020 ) is forgetting to enter the GSX Config page and run the Exclude 3rd Party function to be sure that GSX replacement jetway files (which can be used ONLY on default airports) won't conflict with 3rd party ones. In MSFS 2024 this can't happen, since there are no jetway replacement files for it, but that doesn't mean you might not have conflicts, just they are surely not caused by this.

Thanks for the quick response,
First of all, im in the MSFS 2024. The first point isnt the case, because i only put one single Profile in the %APPDATA% folder, so there is now way the profiles arent any conflicts. And the second case i dont know how to check this. For the specific example: in the airport customization page its showing the path /virtuali/GSX/MSFS/eddl-jklzzimz.ini , but in the virtuali folder the .ini file is named "EDDL-Aerosoft.in". I also have the Aerosoft EDDL installed, and its litteraly the Official GSX Profile for Aerosoft EDDL, so there are no conflicts between the scenery and GSX Profile. What i also find suspicious, but i dont know if it has something to do with the problem is, when i start the simulator, the coutl64_MSFS starts, but the couatl64_MSFS2024 does nothing, since im in the MSFS2024. And maybe this helps also to solve the problem, sometimes, unspecific AIrport or aircraft, when i land and want to select my gate the GSX Menu is stuck in the GSX Loading... screen. When i start the couatl new via the Start couatl for MSFS it works after 2min.

I hope you can do something with this information, and when not i can send logs or files to locate the Problem

br

Edit: I attached a boot log, maybe you can work with it
