GSX Pro Not Installing
« on: June 03, 2025, 10:21:30 pm »
As the title suggests, I'm having issues getting GSX Pro to install. It makes decent progress, usually to about 35% complete, then with no warning, just returns to the main installer screen as if the installation got cancelled, despite me not clicking anything. I have tried the following:

- Add antivirus exclusions to the Addon Manager folder, as well as a firewall exclusion to every program in Addon Manager folder (windows 11 won't let me add the entire folder)
- Completely uninstall, remove all folders related to couatl/Addon Manager/FSDT, restart computer, and reinstall with fresh installer downloaded from the main FSDT page
- Tried different browser repeating the step above

All this and I'm still having issues. It seems to have started with the most recent update. None of my other FSDT products have had issues installing, as I had also removed those in an attempt to get rid of potentially corrupted files. I'm at a loss at this point and now need assistance.

Thanks!

Do you have enough space on C: ? Even if you choose another drive to install, you still need about 15-16GB free on the Windows drive to uncompress temporary files. Those will be reclaimed at the end of the installation, but are required during the install.

If you have enough space on C: and you got a message you canceled a download, the only possible reason is an internet connection error: that message comes out if there's a connection error of any kind, including a timeout of the servers not responding for too much time.

You are not connecting to our servers directly, you are connecting to your local cloudflare node so, if that node has a problem or you are in an country where cloudflare access is restricted, you might try using a VPN to connect using a different county, which will route you to a different node as well.

Okay, understood. I will attempt to connect via a VPN and see if that helps at all.
