GSX crashes after latest updates
Schlotterknie:
After receiving the latest updates today morning GSX functionality is now pretty limited on my rig. Using latest P3D5 on Windows 10. No changes in configuration on my side.
I tried at different airports and with different aircraft (FSLabs A320, PMDG 737 NGXu, QW 787) and some GSX operations seem to be broken.
* Requesting GPU only works when connected to a jetway. Otherwise GSX crashes.
* Refueling always crashes.
* Boarding crashes.
* Catering seems to work.
* Pushback works.
* DeIce works.

Actually hardly anything is working currently.
davidcherrie:
Do a redownload of GSX. I was getting crashes from towbar-less pushback tugs that hadn't download from the update because of GSX CDN issues. Redownload fixed it.
Schlotterknie:
I made a clean full reinstall of the addon manager and GSX2 (time consuming...).
Those problems remain as I expected. To me it seems that there is something broken within the latest gsx updates.
GSX always crashes right after loading the sim with an FSLabs Airbus:

With the 737 NGXu the sim loads but requesting refueling leads to a couatl/gsx crash:

Schlotterknie:
These obvious probems with GSX injecting those famous green messages to P3D via simconnect have probably been solved with the latest update. At least most of them.

However... I still had a GSX crash today ("UnicodeDecodeError: 'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xa6 in position 30: invalid start byte").
Also some probably new problems now occur. GSX doesn´t trigger jetway movement of SODE-XML jetways anymore.
Green messages are displayed but the jetways won´t move. Tested at several airports.
GSX logs:
AssistanceServices.showMessage() This gate has a standard jetway. WHITE
AssistanceServices.showMessage() Jetway operating WHITE
AssistanceServices.showMessage() Jetways operation completed GREEN
But nothing else happens...
Jetways can be triggered manually using SODE directly but that disables passengers on boarding... "No Jetway docked. You will not see passengers visually"
EDIT:
Jetways tested with SODE 1.7.1 and 1.8.0. Both not working.
GSX2 jetways are working btw.
Another finding:
Delivery of GPU is broken. When selected no message is displayed and nothing happens.
In the GSX menu under the "additional services" the menu item just changes to "GPU is arriving" which is not the case. Also tested at several locations.

This is completely different issue that we are working on.
