Walker.py causing periodic Couatl crash after 3.5.x update
« on: June 01, 2025, 08:39:23 am »
This started occurring yesterday after updating to 3.5.3 and persists to today with 3.5.4 (and running a package check as of 5/31/25 at 1900z).

I noticed it yesterday but did not save the error. Today I had MSFS2020 idling for a couple hours after I finished testing that some errors from previous topics where fixed,
and it threw the exception again.

from couatl log:

FSDT_GSX_NUMPASSENGERS is 177
AssistanceServices.showMessage() Boarding completed GREEN
emulateText_MSFS [GSX] Boarding completed GREEN 3.0

I think there was another patch around 06/01/25 ~0100z

Maybe you should 'check' again.

I re-patched after reading your msg last night, re-launched, and let it run all night and the exception did not occur so it looks like whatever it was has been patched. ;)

The only issues I have remaining now are:
1) The verbosity slider non-functional (supposed to be patched today)
2) The services list keeps rebuilding the backup folders causing the services to all be disabled after each update, requiring manual deletion.

Verbositiy slider works for me again. At least I don't see any messages popping up anymore.
Number 2 is the same for me (messing up after an update).
