Uninstallation
« on: May 24, 2025, 01:55:28 am »
In the process of uninstallation, I deactivated GSX in the Universal installer intending to use the installer to completely remove the files from my system.

Before doing so, I had the product key emailed to me.

Intending to re-activate the product and then use the installer to uninstall the package I now find that the key that I received will not work with the installer stating that the key is invalid.

GSX no longer appears in MSFS

Please advise >:(

Hi...

I just realised that the activation key sent to me by the system states product version GSX 2.6 rather than the version 3 I purchased.

Could that be the problem with re-activation? :(

go here and it will give you all the licences  that you had  bought and make sure you use  the correct one with no errors when typing it in

Hi...
I already have and the attachment on my last post is of the email I received from the server. The activation made was copied from the email, pasted in the activation field, checked and entered. The activation process returns with invalid. :(

ok well the first pic was for gsx pro  and  the second one is for gsx2.6 so unless your mixing  the wrong keys for the wrong install?

HI...
SORRY!!!
You are correct... There is no issue!
I used a different email address for the GSX Pro purchase to my old v2.6 purchase (for FSX )
My sincere apologies for the mixup... (I must be getting senile...)
Cheers...
I have my proper key now...
