Installer Config Panel Listboxes empty
« on: May 07, 2025, 06:22:22 pm »
Hi,

I purchased and installed GSX Pro to use it in MSFS2024. Excellent manual and ground services (working fine) - unfortunately one (maybe tiny) issue:

To choose the addon airports where I want to replace GSX jetways or ground services I open the Config panel in the Installer app.

However - the listboxes are all empty!

And yes - before bothering you here (I am a software developer myself and know the support work) - I read the manual and searched the forum where I found some other users who had the same issue - so I applied all the means triing to solve the problem:

- Windows 11 Updates done
- AV (Defender) not deactivated but added the folder  C:\Program Files (x86)\Addon Manager (plus Couatl_Updater.exe) to the AV Exclusions
- Windows Firewall deactivated during installations of Addon Manager and GSX - and while opening the config panel and using GSX

If have deinstalled GSX and a FSDT Airport (LSZH) and deinstalled Addon Manager, deleted all app folders and installed every thing again (5 times) - unfortenately no success.

The Addon Manager Version is 6.1.0.7 - installed via the newest FSDT_Universal_Installer.exe (Version  1.2.3.0).
I have just MSFS2024 installed - MSFS2020 was installed on my PC but I deinstalled it.

I usually only fly to and from 3D Party and Asobo Bespoke Airports - so I want to deactivate the GSX jetways.

I would really appreciate some help to do that to enjoy this fantastic addon  :)

It's completely normal to not have any Jetway replacement files in MSFS 2024. This is how’s supposed to be, because we still don’t have a dedicated package to replace jetways at default 2024 airports, so you can’t use them yet.

The difference is that, with the previous version, if you had both 2020 and 2024 installed, you were forced to disable GSX jetways in 2020 as well, now they are separated, so you won’t lose those in 2020 if you have both simulators installed.

Thanks for the quick answer,

Do I understand you correctly? It is intended that the boxes are empty, because (at this statium) there is nothing to replace in MSFS2024 - so no need to configurate anything?

Thanks.

Exactly, you don't have to protect 3rd party airports from GSX jetways, because there aren't any jetway replacement installed in 2024.
