In certain situations I miss a quick preview of the selected pushback direction. Especially when flying on an online network and receiving a specific direction request, it is sometimes tricky with automatically generated pushback directions or custom GSX profiles with unprecise labels. You are not sure if you can follow the controller's request with the presets and either create a push with QuickEdit Pushback or gamble on a good pushback direction.
What I have in mind:
- Select the pushback direction via the GSX Menu as today available
- When you now reopen the GSX Menu, an option will be available to preview the pushback route.
- After checking of the good routing, you can disable the preview again via the GSX Menu
To visualise the preview, it would be completely sufficient to use the Customise Parking Position and QuickEdit Pushbacks functions, but unfortunately these are not available when GSX procedures are running.
This feature would ease the pushback procedures on online networks.
