[Resolved] 6 key not responding on GSX menu

This is a strange problem. The 6 key (jetway) isn’t responding when I hit that key on my keyboard. It’s on the row above QWERTY, not on the numpad. Aircraft at gate, C&D.

I have to use the mouse to select it. It only seems to happen at the departure gate. I have checked my keyboard and all keys work correctly.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

This really strange problem persists. I’ve tested my keyboard and there’s nothing wrong with the 6 key. The problem only manifests itself when making a selection from the GSX menu.

I have to use the mouse to make my selection.

It would appear so Kev. It’s okay at the start of the flight when C&D and I’m able to attach the jetway.

But at the arrival gate when I bring up the menu to select 6 - jetway - the entry is sometimes highlighted which is slightly odd. Pressing 6 on the top row (not the numpad) does nothing. I have to use the mouse.

If it’s highlighted on my next flight I might try hitting the Return key.

In FSX/P3D, the menu is handled completely through Simconnect itself, including reading the keyboard, it's black box for us.

This is different than MSFS, where the keys in the menu are read by the Toolbar menu instead, because the function to create menus has been removed in MSFS, but in FSX/P3D, it's handled by the sim itself.
