GSX for MSFS: Exe.xml is corrupt, would someone mind fixing for me, please?

Hi all,

On the new update today, I got a window that said "Your exe.xml is corrupt." I was able to update (I think) but would someone mind fixing my exe.xml, or explaining how I can fix it? I attached it to this post, along with a screenshot of the error. I saw a few years ago someone was able to fix it for a user, so figure I would try too :)

Also, if the file I attached isn't the right file, just lmk please, I found it at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\exe.xml per the alert window I got.

The error in your file is an extra   </Launch.Addon> line at line 6, just remove it.

My Name is Peter and i'm new Member at that Forum.
Maybe you still have a backup file from an older GSX Pro version. At least that helped me.
Complete new installation.

A backup of an old installation won't be useful at all, because the installer always checked the EXE.XML for corruption before modifying it. And in this case, it was clearly corrupted.
