GSX for MSFS: Exe.xml is corrupt, would someone mind fixing for me, please?

As you could have confirmed if you tried opening the EXE.XML file with MS Edge, your EXE.XML IS corrupted (not that I wasn't sure about it), so the FSDT installer correctly labeled as such. The error is in the last sections, after the AFC Bridge lines, there's an extra line that shouldn't be there at line 27:

</SimBase.Document>

So it must be removed, because this is the final closing tag of the file, so there must be only one, at the end.

Hi,

I’m having some trouble with an XML file I need to edit. I can’t seem to remove the  specific line as requested because the file is read-only, and when I try to convert it to Notepad, my changes don’t save properly.

I’ve searched online for solutions but haven’t had any luck. Do you have any guidance on how I can edit this file? I’d really appreciate your help!

Be sure you don't try to edit the file while MSFS is still running. Do it after a Windows restart, for example.
