This is really the first time somebody reported something like this...

I don't even think it's possible, unless one wrote specific code to obtain this effect (which I assure you it's not present anywhere at JFK), to separately control the roof from the rest of the bulding, considering they are exported into a single mesh.

You are probably seeing a conflict created by another scenery, which is excluding parts of JFK.

As you can see from the screenshot, all buildings have their roofs.

Usually, sceneries in conflicts are the AFCAD that comes with traffic packages, and are designed for the default scenery, and must be removed when you are using an addon airport.

However, the problems are double buildings, double taxilines, double jetways, etc. Nobody so far has ever reported only the *roofs* missing.

Can you post a screenshot ?

I'm sorry, but your screenshot was so blurry, I can't make it out.

Please, take a proper screenshot which in Windows is done by pressing ALT+Print key combination when the FSX window is active (click on the FSX window, then press ALT+Print), then open Paint, paste the screenshot (CTRL+V), than save it as a JPG.

No, because that screenshot is so blurred, that I can't figure out if you are seeing a double scenery or not.

I'll repeat the instructions again:

- Click on the FSX window, to make it active.

- Press the ALT and the Print keys together

- open Paint, the paint program that comes with Windows, and paste the screenshot (CTRL+V)

- Save it as a .JPG with any name, then Attach it here.

I'm sorry, but it's still not very clear, not because how you took the screenshot, but because of the angle.

I think I'm seeing double scenery but, with that view is difficult to tell.

However, there are several things that are VERY wrong with your picture, apart the roofs, you have an frame rate so low, which clearly indicates someting is wrong, and it might be due to a double scenery.

Surely, the problem is not caused by FSDT KFJK, but by another scenery in conflict. If you have an addon AI Traffic Package, most probably you have an AFCAD file which was designed for the default scenery, that you need to remove if you are using an addon airport.

How to do this: you need to ask to support of the AI traffic package you are using, because each one uses different names and locations.

However, it's clearly a problem caused by another scenery. There are free utilities, like the FSX Airport scanner, that will try to search for double sceneries but, if you don't know what you are doing, it's best to ask to those that made that scenery.
