Hello
I have owned GSX for quite a few years ad used all ok, however recently I took a 6 month or so break from P3dv4, came back to it last night and GSX doesnt work anymore. Unfortunately, I cant remember if I changed anything before the break, so I started a fresh. Steps I have taken:
1. downloaded latest GSX version from the website
2. fully unistalled old version
3. installed with Norton anti virus disabled
3a. I have tried installs i n default location (programs(x86) and my own file location on the sim SSD drive)
4. configured Norton anti virus to not scan the installed GSX and P3d folders
5. Have uninstalled and reinstalled appropriate C++ files as per instructions found in these forums
6. have run FSDT live update after installing GSX
However, I do not have the option to see GS+X in p3d add on menu nor will control F12 or Control shift F12 open the GSX menu.
I see from this file at C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\add-ons.cfg GSX was not added so I manually added entires there as such:

I ma running windows 10 (fully upto date) and p3d v4.023.21468
I have other products successfully showing in the addons menu such as ASN and FSUICP but not GSX. I apologise now as I know this is reported often but I have really tried to resolve this myself before posting this
