Some Buildings missing
« on: October 26, 2014, 11:57:49 am »
Hello,

I have a problem with KORD.
All Terminal buildings are shown correctly. But the small buildings, which are located arround the main Terminals, on the other side of the runways, are missing.

I don't run any program in Compatibility Mode and the buildings don't appear, if I fly to them.

Here are some more pictures, to show, which buildings are affected:

I have both, Couatl powered Products and the Addon-Manager in the FSX-Menu "Addons".
Chicago is activated correctly.
I am not using AES, im using GSX.
I have reinstalled my Grafic Card driver, but that did not solve this problem, too!

I have read the following Threads, but no one could solve my problem!

Sorry, but in all those threads, users eventually found the solution, which was always caused by either the Compatibility mode (not JUST FSX, but any add-ons that runs with it in Compatibility mode might cause this ), or a problem with video drivers settings or tweaks.

There are no other known solutions, because it's not a problem of the scenery, and none of the users that solved it in all those threads solved it by any other method than acting on those external factors which affected the scenery.

Ok,
None of the programs are running in the compatibility mode...

Is there any tool, to find out, if there is a program running in compatibility mode?
Kind Regards
Matthias

The Compatibility mode issue is just ONE of the different possible causes indicated in the thread you linked, there's the video settings or FSX.CFG tweaks issue, which has been explained too.

No, you must look in your EXE.XML for all the .EXE that are being launched, and check them one by one. And, of course, if you start FSX from another program, like REX, which causes all sort of troubles.
