Saving Missions and Rewards in FSX
« on: August 06, 2008, 04:10:33 am »
Is there a way to keep all missions and rewards intact after the game is uninstalled and reinstalled? I backed up all the necessary files but the only thing that was restored was the number of landings-no trophies, certificates, etc--all gone! I have to spend many hours reflying the missions to the success point.

Has anyone developed a program that will automatically save all game files?

All replies welcome. Thanks.

I solved my own problem by reflying each mission and saving it at the point of "Success" and restarting the computer. The original rewards were again visible in the Pilot Records/Rewards tab. Just thought you'd all like to know in case YOU ever have this problem. It will save you hours of work! crashlander

Razgriz: Thanks for your reply, but if you read the following you will see that you are only partially correct.

The key is to backup the main files to a different location.
