All airport lights constantly on?

Hey team quick question, are the airport light designed to always be on because all my runway and light post light never turn off during the day? thnx

No, it's not normal at all. They should light up only at dusk/dawn/night, and it's strange it wouldn't work, because they are using a normal FSX variable, which should always work.

I figured it out its been very overcast at LAX probably the reason less than 5 mile visibility whenever I land.

Yes, of course. They lights up in low visibility too, we specifically programmed them to do that, but it haven't thought about that.
