Active sky evolution telling me that some data is missing
At the Application folder - so I deleted everything again as I
assumed some files were missing when I deleted them from
The regdata - now installing FS again - I am so so upset

At least you know that's something wrong in your FS9 installation doesn't affect *only* FSDT products.

You mean appdata ? The only files that really could affect this are the scenery.cfg and the fs9.cfg. If you remove them both, nothing will happen, except your FS9 settings will go back to default if you remove the fs9.cfg, and your Scenery Library will go back to all default sceneries, if you remove the scenery.cfg

I would still like to know how you fixed Zurich and PHNL. I'm sorry, but this also clearly proves you must doing something wrong along the way. The Zurich and PHNL installer are always the same...

Got back to the stage where i was 5 hours ago - JFK and PHNL are working fine - the rest now shit - what is interesting - when i add manually the scenery to the folder - it shows up - i quit FS - go to the scenery.cfg file - open it with word and the added new scenery is not showing

Any clues if this is the problem ?

This is what you said yesterday: the scenery is added, but FS9 is not saving the setting. Also, I really hope you don't *save* it back with Word! That would CORRUPT the scenery.cfg!! You should never, ever, use Word to edit a text file. Use a proper text file editor, or at least Notepad.

Also, keep in mind there are TWO scenery.cfg files, one under the main FS9 folder, another one in the %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FS9. Depending on the OS and the permission settings, one or the other is used so, you might be fooled into thinking the scenery is not there, because you are looking the wrong file.

Try to remove BOTH scenery.cfg files, and reinstall one of our sceneries and NEVER open them with Word again!

i was opening them with OWrd and saving them- So now i will delete them and keep u posted

at the appliacation data - there is no scenery.cfg file - in non of the 3 applications - local - locallow - roaming - so i deleted the one at the FS folder.

great - now i cant open the FS - he tells me - scenery.cfg is not working - install FS 9 again - so do i have to reinstall FS 9 again - can you send me the scenery.cfg file:

You can get the original scenery.cfg from the "Complete" archive (you need something that can open .CAB files) in the FS9 CD 4

An utility that can open compressed files, like Winrar, Winzip, 7-Zip, etc. I'll send you via email anyway...

Wait, I've just checked, the scenery.cfg is not even compressed, it's in the COMPLETE folder of the FS9 CD number 4

Umberto - copied it from the CD 4  back to the FS folder - now i can open FS again - so what shall i do next ?

I can tell u one thing now - I installed Zurich - opened FS - put it manually in the scenery folder - closed fs - opened it again - it stays on top of the scenery folder - closed FS - went to the fs9 folder in the explorer - opened scenery.cfg with the editor - FS Zurich is addded at the end. Go back to FS - opened Zürich airport - same situation like yesterday - blury and no buidings
