found in the explorer the folder - user - than i go to Marek - but ther is no APPDATA ??

Type this:

%APPDATA%\Microsoft

in the blank area of the Windows Start menu (the one that opens when you click on the big Windows logo on the bottom-left of the screen), then press Enter

An explorer window with many folders should open. Select the one named "FS9" with a single click, and press the DEL key on the keyboard to remove it.

I deleted this folder - now i cant open the FS simulator as he gives me an error message - in the application ....

Sorry - was my mistake - so i completle deleted in my folder (marek) - appdata - roaming - MIcrosoft - FS -

but it still doesnt work - its strange as it has to do something with the Admin - funtion.

What shall i do now ?

I erased - all the Microsoft/fs.cfg files - it is still not working

This only means the problem wasn't there. Try the registry. Open the REGEDIT program (as before, type REGEDIT in the white area of the Start button and press Enter)

Look for this entry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/MICROSOFT GAMES/Flight Simulator/9.0

And check if the "EXE Path" parameter points to the correct folder were you actually have installed FS9. If not, correct it manually by double clicking on the "EXE Path" name and change it.

I'm sorry, but I have no idea, other then we finally proved it was something related to your user account. Maybe a problem with permissions ?

Try to edit your account to be a standard user with limited permissions, log out, then log in again, and change it back to admin permission, perhaps this will reset your settings.

And  umberto - it's really strange as I would use the other account - the software gets
Installed with no problems - do there must be a small difference in these 2
Accounts and I don't know where it is

If I knew, I would have told you already. We finally found is related to the account so, something must gone wrong with your account settings, doesn't seem to be related to FS9 files, since they are recreated from scratch when removing the FS9 local folder in %APPDATA% so, if it's not that, it might be related to account permissions.

You can also try to play with the UAC (User Account Control) settings, and see if it makes any difference. Some explanation how they work here:
