Approaching Lights + PAPI
« on: October 28, 2007, 02:24:41 am »
Hi guys,

on behalf this very beautiful scenery i had find 1 failure!
RWY32 is ONLY for DEPATURES, and not for landing aircrafts.
In this case, RWY32 has no approaching lights and PAPI System.

Best regarts,

According to latest (April 2007) Swiss AIP charts of the airport, RWY32 does have a PAPI and approach lights and so does the scenery.

Timm, sorry to say, but your wrong  ;)
In real life you can see some landings on runway 32, but only of small aircrafts => General Aviation. It`s a special procedure called H1 approach and need a seperate license to fly it. If I`m not wrong, it will be used if the airliners land on runway 28.

Gruss nach Deutschland :D
