Turn Labels Off
« on: October 31, 2010, 08:33:40 am »
Gentlemen,

Is anyone aware of any 'tweak' that could be implemented to turn the 'labels off' in FSX.

I mean, I know the 'Ctrl+Shift+L' key command shortcut. But, what I am looking at is; a 'fix' so that, if one "hosts" a multiplayer session, he could enable/disable the 'labels' for the session itself.

Help please.

Thanks in anticipation.

The AI/multiplayer aircraft labels?  As a global realism setting for multiplayer sessions?  No, I don't believe so.

Orion,

Thanks for the reply.

But, there MUST be a tweak hidden somewhere in the DLL.XML or FSX.CFG or some other file somewhere.

If you want to learn C++/VB.NET programming SimConnect can do it, but thats about it.

Bruce,

If I do that, it turns them off only for ME. It doesn't turn them off for everyone in the session that I host. And this defeats the whole purpose, if you understand what I am saying.

Good explanation on turning off the labels. It helped me a lot to understand the context of what I need.
