According to one source as GSX takes over ground operations at an arrival airport the default OEM marshal who guides the plane into the ramp/gate will disappear, and that seems to be what's happening here, though I'm not certain. What I am certain of is somewhat recently when I reinstalled GSX Pro after a long hiatus I never see the default gate marshal who guides me into my gate--IMPORTANT: I'm using SubtleTaxiRibbon addon which duplicates which gate default ATC would direct me to as I prefer this over GSX's arrival marshal. Oddly, some payware airports will still display this marshal. Also of note--the OTHER default ground crew do appear at arrival, just the one guiding my plane is the one missing.
Might there be some tweak in some file to restore the default airplane marshal? I did realize I could maybe kill Couatl prior to landing, perhaps that would do it but I just thought of that now as I'm typing this.
