LSZH - A deep canyon on Intersection H3 RWY 32 // MSFS2020
« on: December 15, 2024, 10:12:20 pm »
There was a version published 1.6.7 for LSZH which I installed and everything worked fine. After a while it showed "Version installed 1.6.7 ----> latest version 1.6.6" unintentionally I updated (my fault) and now there is a big canyon at the above mentioned position. Any clues. Sorry cannot post a screenshot with only 4096kb space!!

There's no need to post any screenshot (and of course if you use .jpg the file size will surely be much smaller) that error can only be caused by some problem on your side, either a firewall or antivirus is blocking access to our site, of your local cloudflare node for some reason is showing the outdated version.

Be sure you disable all firewalls, configure the antivirus to add the whole Addon manager folder to the antivirus Exclusions, and check the online version is the latest one (1.6.7). You need to restart the FSDT installer after you configure firwall/antivirus.

Thankyou very much for your answer. This is really possible yes. After the latest Windows 24H2 update from Nov11 a lot of strange things happened. Will try your hints you gave me with fingers crossed  :)

Hi together,

I does have a similar issue. Version 1.6.7 was installes in MSFS2020 and linked to MSFS2024 with the FSDT Installer. Already weeks ago, the FSDT Installer said: Actual version is 1.6.6 and not the installed 1.6.7.
So, today I uninstalled LSZH through the FSDT Installer and installed it again. It just installled 1.6.6 and 1.6.7 is not offered. Firewall is proberly configured an all Folders are in the Anti-Virus exclude list.

I had this issue before, but it solved by itself. But now it is back. For me it looks like, that different download servers/mirrors offering different "latest" versions and depending on what FSDT Installer chooses, you have different results.

@SR144 Could you solve your issue somehow?

Regards,
Torsten

No, it was just a problem of the manifest file on the server which wasn't updated, so it showed 1.6.6, but the actual scenery files being downloaded are the ones from 1.6.7. Now it's fixed, so it won't be confusing anymore, but you'll still get the same files even if you update now, and they don't have the problem reported.
